She started off working as a receptionist for a few years, then advancing to the role of office manager. After having her daughter, Amelia, she decided to take on a new role of optometric technician. Only working that position for a few months, she moved into a surgical counselor role. With 13+ years in the industry, there’s truly not a job she hasn’t tackled. Taylor has been in the eyecare industry for the last 2+ years. She began working in the field as an optometric technician and scribe to the optometrist and has worked her way over to the optician side of the office where she can assist customers in their fashion choices and tailored lens and/or frame needs. Before diving into this field, she was in the beauty industry doing hair, waxing, and lash extensions full time for many years. Beyond that, she also worked in photography for 9 years. While she still performs those services in her free time, her full-time commitment is to serving, and maintaining lasting relationships with the customers here at Premier Family Eyecare. Her passion is to help others look and feel their best. Glasses are no longer an unwanted necessity. In today’s society, they are a key component to highlighting the natural features of an individual. Christina has been employed in the optical industry for 4 years. She began as a lab technician by edging and mounting lenses into frames and quickly advanced to the position of Lab Manager by efficiently controlling the flow from ordering lenses through to their completion by ensuring accurate, clean work.
Wanting to build upon her knowledge in the optical world she expanded her responsibilities to include the role of an optical technician, which consisted of performing patient pre-tests for the optometrist. Soon she progressed from the back office to become an Optician on the floor by directly assisting customers. Her lab background gives her a unique perspective when it comes to choosing which frame and lens style that will work best for your individual needs.
