Dr. Jay Crank
Dr. Crank graduated from the Michigan College of Optometry in 1993. He also obtained his Bachelors in Vision Science from Ferris State University. Dr. Crank has been practicing in Grand Rapids for over 20 years specializing in Primary Care, Ocular Disease and Contact Lenses.
Dr. Crank was the founder of Travel EyeCare, a mobile eye clinic serving people with difficult transportation needs. He has volunteered his time with mission trips and at Cherry Street Health Clinic in downtown Grand Rapids. Since 2003, Dr. Crank has been an Adjunct Faculty Professor at the Michigan College of Optometry teaching future Eye Doctors primary eye care and ocular disease. Dr. Crank speaks regularly across the country to the optometric community as a Professional Development Consultant.
His family consists of his wife Tami for 21 years and two daughters Carlie and Lindsey. Dr. Crank resides in Caledonia and his children attend Caledonia schools. He enjoys representing his community through coaching hockey, volunteering at church, and serving on local boards.
Dr. Carlie Crank
Dr. Crank received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Michigan College of Optometry. She then continued training at the VA Medical Center in Battle Creek, as well as Michigan Eye Institute and Walton & Becker Eyecare.
Dr. Crank has special interests in ocular disease management and specialty contact lens fittings, along with managing a multitude of ocular conditions.
Growing up in Caledonia, Dr. Crank is excited to have returned to the community she calls home.
When Dr. Crank is not in the office, she enjoys staying active, playing pickle ball, spending time with friends and family as well as planning her upcoming wedding in September of 2023.
Dr. Megan Scott
Dr. Scott received her undergraduate from Grand Valley State University. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry. She completed her internships at the Detroit VA Medical Center, Moses Eye Care, Indianapolis Eye Care Center, and Bowersox Vision Center.
Dr. Scott has special interest and training in ocular disease management, dry eye care and pediatric eye care.
Dr. Scott grew up in Ludington, Michigan, and is excited to return to her West Michigan roots.
When Dr. Scott is not in the office , she enjoys playing tennis, hiking, traveling, and water sports. She recently started playing pickleball and is looking for pointers. In her free time, you can find Dr. Scott with her black lab.
